Maintenance of the quantitive feeder reducer:

1. Every 8 hours, check and clean the dust on the surface of the to facilitate heat dissipation. Check for oil leakage, loose bolts, etc.

2. Ensure that the air vent on the sealing bolt of the oil filling hole is not blocked to oil leakage caused by increased internal pressure of the reducer.

3. SA series reducers are pre-filled with oil before leaving the factory and do not need to be refilled use. Newly installed equipment must be checked for oil loss during transportation and installation.

4. BWY series 12#-18# reducers use ester lubrication and are pre- at the factory; reducers of size 22# and above use oil lubrication and are not pre-filled, so they can only be started after oil filling.

5 When adding lubricating oil, the oil level should be at the center of the oil mark or oil gauge. The amount of grease to be injected should be 1/3 to /2 of the internal volume of the reducer. Do not add too much grease to avoid generating stirring heat.

6. Grease replacement cycle: Replace every 6 months. Lubric oil replacement cycle:  quantitive feederThe first oil change should be performed after the reducer has run for 300 hours. For reducers working continuously for 10 hours a day, the oil every 3 months; for reducers working no more than 10 hours a day, change the oil every 6 months. When the working environment temperature is -40 degrees Celsius (room temperature), use N150 grade industrial gear oil.

7. For reducers used in low-temperature environments, use grease lubrication, molybdenum disulfide or AL-3 lithium-based grease is recommended.

8. Lubricants must be clean. It is not allowed to add lubricants containing impurities and corrosive substances.

9. When opening the oil filling hole, the area around the hole must be cleaned first. quantitive feeder Do not allow dust and debris to fall into the oil filling hole of the reducer, otherwise will damage the reducer or significantly reduce its service life.
