I. Double Shaft Mixer Product Overview

The SJ series twin-shaft humidifying mixer is mainly used for the humidification of materials. Its main function is to add a corresponding amount of atomized water to high-dust materials, mix them evenly with the stirring blades to reach a certain humidity, facilitating material and storage.

The stirring blades of the SJ series twin-shaft humidifiers produced by our company are made of 16Mn or stainless steel, improving the wear resistance of the. The blades are connected to the shaft by threads, making them easy to disassemble and replace.

II. Double Shaft Mixer Working Principle

The entire humidifier is divided into three zones during operation the atomization zone, the mixing zone, and the discharge zone. In the atomization zone, after the powder enters the machine shell through the inlet, several nozzles spray atomized at a fixed quantity and pressure onto the surface of the powder material. Through the stirring and flipping of the blades, a water film is formed on the surface of the powder, achieving uniform. The material is then pushed to the mixing zone by the blades. In this zone, the powder undergoes thorough homogenization, wetting, and penetration through the stirring, kneading, and squeezing the blades, resulting in a more uniform mixture of powder and water. In the discharge zone, the stirring blades quickly push the wet material, which has a certain plasticity, to the to fall down. Thus, the material, which has been fully mixed after adding water, is sent to the next process or transported away by a vehicle.

III. Double Shaft Mixer Main Structure System Overview of the Equipment

The SJ series humidifier consists of a transmission part, a stirring part, a water spraying device, and a machine body part.

1. Transmission PartThe transmission part of the mixer includes: a cycloidal pin gear reducer, sprockets and chains, a gearbox, etc.

2. Stirring Part

The stirring part includes two shafts and bearing housings, several stirring blades, etc.

3. Water Spraying Device

The water spraying device includes water distribution pipes, diversion pipes, throttle valves, water spray pipes and nozzles, etc.

4. Machine Body Part

The machine body part includes the machine shell, inlet and outlet, and machine base, etc.

A brief description of the characteristics the main components is as follows:

Gearbox: It is equipped with a pair of cast steel cylindrical spur gears with the same number of teeth inside, which transmit power to the stirring shafts, making them rotate in opposite directions (rotation direction: viewed from the reducer end, the driving shaft rotates counter-clockwise, and the driven shaft rotates clockwise). A certain of lubricating grease is injected into the box to ensure good gear lubrication and reduce wear.

Stirring Blades: They are welded from materials such as 16Mn and stainless steel offering good wear resistance and a long service life.

Machine Shell: It is made of rolled and welded steel plates, supported and fixed on the machine base by three supports, providing rigidity and minimal bending deformation.

Machine Base: It is welded from channel steel, ensuring strong rigidity for the entire machine and minimal deformation during lifting.

IV.Double Shaft Mixer Installation and Trial

1. Installation: The entire machine should operate horizontally. The four corners must be leveled and not warped, otherwise it will affect normal operation and reduce the service life.

2 Trial Run: After the entire machine is installed, a comprehensive inspection should be conducted to remove foreign objects fallen into the machine shell and tighten the bolts of all parts. The reducer gearbox should be filled with sufficient lubricating grease according to regulations, and the chain tension should be adjusted. First, jog the electric motor. If there is no abnormal operation, jamming, or vibration, the electric motor can be started for an empty run, with the empty run time not less than 2 hours.
