A screw scale is a production metering device that continuously transports, dynamically measures, and controls the feeding of powder and granular materials.

According to process, it controls the flow rate and direction of materials passing through the screw conveyor and achieves metering management to meet production process requirements and realize automation. Screw scale is widely used in industries such electric power, metallurgy, coal, chemical industry, ports, building materials, ceramics, and food. When the material is transported from the inlet to the outlet by the impeller screw the electronic weighing device installed under the screw conveyor (consisting of weighing levers, weighing sensors, etc.) detects the weight of the material and generates a voltage signal proportional to the load of the lever, which is sent to the dynamic weighing meter. At the same time, the speed signal of the conveyor main shaft is input by the speed sensor installed at the tail of the screw. After the dynamic weighing meter processes the two signals, the instantaneous flow rate and cumulative weight values are obtained.
