Replacement method of the belt of quantitative feeder

When replacing the belt of a quantitative feeder, if the space on both sides of the scale body is unrestricted, it should be done from side opposite the reducer. If the space on the side opposite the reducer is narrow, it must be done from the reducer side. When replacing the belt, follow these steps:

1.Close the gate of the material bin and empty the material from the feeding hopper.

2. Completely turn off the power to the volumetric feeder.

3. When replacing the belt 

3.1. Remove the feeding hopper; if there is a discharge cover and side baffles, they must also be detached from the scale body of the volumetric feeder; 

3.2. Loosen and remove the left-side belt tensioning nut; 

3.3. Loosen and remove the right-side tensioning nut, and simultaneously remove screw rod; 

3.4. Push the driven roller forward to the front end, and tie the driven roller securely to the scale frame of the volumetric feeder with a strong rope;

 35. Remove the bearing housing slide frame on this side, while ensuring the driven roller does not fall down; 

3.6. Remove one connecting screw from each side of the longitudinal beam of volumetric feeder scale body, and detach the belt tracking and tensioning device; 

3.7. Loosen the fixing screws (front and rear uprights) on this end as as possible, but do not remove them; 

3.8. Remove the fixing screws connecting the upper ends of the front and rear uprights (two in total) to the longitudinal beam the scale body; 

3.9. Lift up the upper frame of the scale frame on one end; 

3.9.1. Remove the original belt along direction J, then install the new belt in the opposite direction of J; 

3.9.2. K is the driving roller; 

3.9.3. If the space on the side is insufficient, the motor and reducer must be removed first, and then the belt is replaced from the reducer side in the same manner; 

3.9.4. After the new belt, restore the volumetric feeder scale body in the reverse order of the above steps.

4. After the belt of the quantitive feeder scale body is installed, it must be checked any forgotten tools or items on the bottom belt. Only after confirming there are none can the machine be started, commissioned, and operated
