I. Project Overview
A certain petrochemical group is a large petrochemical enterprise, and the coal conveying system in the plant area is responsible for the continuous transport of boiler fuel. The original coal conveyor belt lacked an online detection device for metal foreign objects Foreign objects mixed in the coal, such as bolts, welding slag, and broken metal components, easily enter the coal crusher, causing damage to the crusher hammers and belt tearing. To implement the requirements of safety production technical transformation, the enterprise launched an intelligent upgrade project for the conveyor belt. After multi-party technical comparisons and field inspections, Weifang Zhitian Industrial Automation Equipment Co., Ltd. was selected as the equipment supplier. 11 of GJT series belt conveyor metal detectors were purchased and deployed along 11 coal conveyor belts in the plant area.
